Job Title: Sorting Coordinator
Duration: 3 months
Location: Acton, MA, 01720
Shift Schedule: M-F 06am – 2:30pm

JOB DESCRIPTION

1st shift time is 6am - 2:30pm and will be at the Distribution Center (50 Nagog)

Position Overview:

The Sorting Coordinator will perform visual inspection on the product to confirm conformance of the product to sorting requirements.

 

Responsibilities:

• Complete visual inspection of product against sorting requirements.

• Communicate effectively with sort leader as needed.

• Performs other duties as required.

 

Education and Experience:

Minimum Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED

 

Preferred Skills and Competencies:

• 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment in Distribution, Receiving, or Manufacturing Support environment.

• Experience working in the medical device industry.

• Must be proficient in English language to be able to read documentation, communicate, and write.

• Ability to understand and follow standard operational procedures and follow written and oral instructions with minimal supervision

• Strong critical thinking and attention to detail Ability to communicate effectively with supervisor and other employees

• Ability to understand and follow written and oral instructions with minimal supervision

• Basic math and arithmetic skills

• Able to work effectively with a team environment.

• Able to perform tasks with accuracy and reliability

 

Physical Requirements:

• Proficient vision (glasses to aid vision are acceptable)

NOTE: This position requires on-site working (requires on-site office/plant/lab work)
