Job Description
Job Title: Engineering Contractor
Duration: 3 Months (Summer Contract)
Location: Abernathy, TX
About the Role
We are seeking junior-level contractors (current engineering students or recent graduates) to support a large-scale, billion-dollar data center construction project.
This is a hands-on, onsite opportunity to work closely with engineering and construction teams while gaining real-world experience in a fast-paced infrastructure environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Track daily progress across multiple workstreams (100+ sections of work)
- Perform QA/QC oversight and validation of construction activities
- Monitor and report on man-hours across subcontractors
- Support electrical, piping, and cooling/mechanical teams on-site
- Translate field activities into structured daily updates and reports for leadership
- Coordinate with teams to ensure accurate documentation of project progress
- Assist with general site reporting and administrative engineering tasks
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, or related field)
