Title: Project Manager I HR Technology, Phenom Candidate Relationship Management (CRM) Implementation
Duration: 12 months
Location: North Chicago, IL (60064)
Role Overview
We are seeking a project managerto coordinate the implementation of a Talent Acquisition (TA) CRM platform (Phenom). This role will be part of a high visibility HR technology initiative, partnering with Talent Acquisition, HR Operations, Business Technology Systems (BTS), Analytics, and external vendors to ensure successful implementation and adoption.
This role is ideal for someone who can ramp quickly, operate independently, and drive results in a complex enterprise environment.
What You’ll Do -TA Readiness
• Responsible for overseeing the full lifecycle of a Phenom CRM implementation deliverables for TA, including kickoff through go-live, hypercare, and maintenance.
• Develop detailed internal project plans, timelines, milestones, dependencies, delivery milestones, and work breakdown structures for the TA activities in support of the Phenom CRM implementation project plan.
• Partner with TA leaders, recruiters, HR Ops, BTS, and Analytics to gather and validate requirements.
• Serve as the primary point of contact with Phenom and other external implementation partners for TA.
• Orchestrate testing, UAT, defect triage, and release readiness.
• Support change management strategies including involving stakeholders early, documenting current processes, and support the creation of training resources to ensure smooth adoption of the new CRM by users.
• Provide clear, concise status reporting and executive level communication
• Proactively identify project risks, issues, and dependencies; develop mitigation and contingency plans in partnership with technology and business owners.
What You Bring
• 5+ years of project management experience delivering enterprise technology implementations
• BA Degree: HR/IT related degrees
• Prior experience supporting HR, Talent Acquisition, CRM, or ATS (Applicant Tracking Systems) platforms
• Proven ability to manage vendors and cross-functional stakeholders
• Strong delivery discipline with minimal oversight
• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
Strongly Preferred
• Hands-on experience implementing Phenom or similar TA CRM platforms
• Experience integrating CRM solutions with ATS systems (e.g., SmartRecruiters, and WD)
• Experience working in large, matrixed organizations
• PMP, Agile, or Scrum certification
• Change Management certification
