Job Title: Technical Product Owner – Data & Analytics
Location: Remote (Occasional travel to Philadelphia 2–4x/year for PI Planning)
Duration: 5 Months (Extension possible)
We are seeking a Technical Product Owner – Data & Analytics to drive the delivery of data-driven solutions within an Agile environment. This role will bridge business needs with technical execution by transforming complex requirements into actionable backlog items and delivering high-quality BI and data products.

Key Responsibilities:
Product Ownership & Delivery
- Own and manage the product backlog for Data & BI initiatives
- Translate business requirements into epics, user stories, and roadmaps
- Define acceptance criteria and ensure quality deliverables
Stakeholder Management
- Collaborate with business analysts, BI teams, and data architects
- Gather, validate, and prioritize reporting and analytics requirements
- Align solutions with enterprise data architecture
Agile Execution
- Participate in Agile ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Standups, Retrospectives, PI Planning)
- Work closely with developers, QA, and Scrum teams
Quality & Communication
- Validate dashboards, reports, and data products before release
- Communicate progress, risks, and outcomes to stakeholders
Required Skills:
- Strong experience in Data & BI product ownership
- Proficiency in SQL and Python
- Expertise in data modeling (star schema, normalized/denormalized models)
- Hands-on experience with Tableau / Power BI
- Experience with AWS tools (Redshift, SageMaker preferred)
- Strong Agile/Scrum experience
Preferred Skills:
- Insurance domain experience (Disability, FMLA, Life)
- Data governance and data quality exposure
- CI/CD and version control knowledge
