Title: Senior Accountant
Location: Atlanta, Georgia (Onsite)
Duration: Perm/Direct Hire

Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Senior Accountant to join a growing accounting team within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is part of a strategic transition following an acquisition, where accounting operations are being consolidated and streamlined. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who can operate with minimal supervision, take ownership of evolving responsibilities, and help drive process improvements during a period of change.
 

Key Responsibilities:

• Support general accounting functions including journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close
• Assist with integration of accounting operations from an acquired entity, identifying efficiencies and eliminating redundancies
• Lead and support small projects and process improvement initiatives with minimal oversight
• Analyze existing workflows and help implement new processes where needed
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth transition of accounting activities
• Utilize ERP systems to manage financial data and reporting
• Provide support in financial reporting and ensure compliance with accounting standards 

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• 3–4+ years of accounting experience (manufacturing industry experience required)
• Prior experience in public accounting is a strong plus
• CPA or CPA-track preferred
• Experience working in a fast-paced, high-growth or large company environment with strong training foundation
• Hands-on experience with ERP systems
• Proven ability to work independently, take initiative, and adapt to changing responsibilities
