Job Description

Title: Instrument Technician - II 
Location: Millsboro, DE 19966
Duration: 6 Months 


Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with strong emphasis on Excel

  • Mechanically inclined with the ability to learn and utilize calibration software

  • Strong communication skills for interaction with onsite teams and external vendors

  • Detail-oriented, organized, and self-motivated

  • Customer service mindset with the ability to work collaboratively

  • Experience in a GMP or industrial equipment environment preferred

  • Willingness to perform field calibration work in lab, cleanroom, and utility environments


Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform pipette calibrations and support P-1 and P-2 Calibration Technicians with equipment calibrations
  • Coordinate and communicate effectively with vendors and third-party service providers
  • Maintain tracking and inventory of all third-party calibration equipment across departments
  • Manage the shipment of calibration equipment to and from vendors
  • Ensure proper stocking of consumables and gases required for calibration activities
  • Perform field calibration work in laboratory, cleanroom, and utility environments

Preferred Skills & Attributes:

  • Strong communication skills for interaction with both onsite teams and offsite vendors
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and self-motivated
  • Mechanically inclined with the ability to troubleshoot equipment
  • Experience in a GMP or industrial equipment environment preferred
  • Demonstrates strong customer service skills and teamwork
