Job Description
Title: Change Consultant IV
Location: REMOTE
Estimated duration: 6 Months; extended 12 Months; possible convert to FTE
Schedule
• Days: Mon- Friday
• Hours: 8AM-5PM EST
Top must-have tech skills
• Change Management Certification- as this will demonstrate the contractor's ability to lead an organizational change
• MS Int-Advanced PowerPoint
• MS office Suite Beginner - Intermediate skill set
• Workday experience from a content level, in other words someone who knows what Workday experience is, what are the benefits of Workday Experience, how can Workday experience help the organization build and maintain a unique, meaningful and engaging experience for every employee in the organization, regardless of their title, position or tenure.
Experience and Soft Skills
• Comprehensive Consultant Management for major organizational transformation (minimum of 30,000 employees or more)
• Experience with large scale efforts across a distributed workforce will be key
• Experience mediating risk and creating strategies to go with it.
Experience with stakeholder interviews- speaking with various stakeholders- THIS IS SUPER IMPORTANT as this contractor will be working with the C-suite leaders meaning the very top executives in the organization who are responsible for the company's strategy and operations.
• Presentation skills is ABSOLUTELY a priority and with that comes excellent written and verbal - again addressing top level executives.
• Excellent listening skills and interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to influence others, middle managers
• Must have a good temperament- transformational change, so if they have someone who is not flexible and rigid; we need someone knowledgeable. Hey must be comfortable with ambiguity
• Note: This person's soft skills will come through so much more than their ability to only ask questions and walk away. We want someone to be at a high level, but to dig in, ask good questions, but to have a conversation then put together their notes and be able to present and share the concerns so it can be solutioned.
What will separate an average candidate vs a great candidate on a resume?
• Change Management Consultant Experienced with Large Scale Transformation; 30k employees or more
Day to day responsibilities:
• Conduct thorough assessments to understand, identify and impact of changes coming
• Responsible for creating a detailed change management plan
• Implements change management strategies and communication plans, ensuring that activities are executed effectively and in a timely manner.
• Presents to stakeholders to ensure that all stakeholders are informed about the changes, their purpose, and the expected outcomes.
• Monitors progress of the change initiative
• Identify risks and resistance and work through solutioning and mitigate the risk.
• Take theory and make it applicable
• Collaborate within the workstream leads: CIO and CHRO
Who is this worker's main interaction going to be with?
• Across the program from PM managers and will partner with Deloitte from Senior leaders to any client's employee. Primary partners will be people within the program leadership (top level of this program, top level program, work with 35 people day to day)
Will the contractor be working independently or will they be collaborating with team members and/or a manager to complete tasks?
• BOTH
How will performance be measured:
• Through leader observation regarding strategies they've created and from the team leads will be through feedback
