Position Title: Project Engineer
Work Location: Minnetonka, MN 55345
Assignment Duration: 7 Months

Position Summary: Seeking a highly motivated Project Engineer (Contractor) to support Cardiac Rhythm Management (CRM) New Product Development initiatives. This role supports a senior project lead and is responsible for day-to-day execution, with strong emphasis on vendor coordination, material delivery, and project schedule accountability in a regulated medical device environment.

Background & Context: This role supports CRM New Product Development programs in a regulated medical device environment at The Organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute operational project plans and deliverables in support of CRM NPD programs.
• Track project schedules, milestones, risks, and mitigation actions.
• Coordinate external vendors, track material deliveries, and hold suppliers accountable.
• Interface with R&D, Quality, Regulatory, Supply Chain, and Material Compliance teams.
• Maintain project plans using MS Project or Planview.
• Prepare status reports and lead working meetings.
• Clarify design intent when interfacing with vendors and partners.

Qualification & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience.
• Strong communication and independent working ability.
• Medical device experience.
• Knowledge of FDA QSR / ISO 13485.
• Vendor management experience.
