Job Summary:
With guidance from supervision, assists technical personnel in general laboratory operations and routine laboratory or information-handling tasks in support of scientific research. Works collaboratively as part of a team to support research and development of plant genome editing technologies. Familiarity with routine molecular biology techniques is preferred.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist team members in conducting experiments and technical operations
- Follow established laboratory protocols and procedures
- Complete assigned tasks accurately and within deadlines
- Support daily laboratory operations and research activities
- Help develop and manage daily work plans efficiently
- Maintain proper documentation of experiments and results
- Ensure compliance with company safety policies and procedures
- Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Biochemistry, Biological Sciences, Genetics, or a related field
- Familiarity with routine molecular biology techniques, including:
- Vector construction
- E. coli transformation
- DNA extraction (plasmid and genomic)
- PCR (Polymerase Chain Reaction)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment

- Detail-oriented with strong time management skills
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a research-driven environment
