Job Description
Location: Guayama, PR
Shifts: Must have full availability to work rotating shifts based on business needs. Work schedules are subject to change and may include, but are not limited to, the following shifts:

12 hr shift, 4 days a week, may include weekends.

2 days a week, morning shift.
Summary:
The personnel in this role is responsible to execute each specific job assignment in a safe and acceptable quality manner and within expenditure of time and material, and according to all safety and GMP regulations. This includes, but is not limited to, material transfers, chemical reactions, distillations, sampling, and equipment cleaning.
Responsibilities:
- Execute each specific job assignment in a safe and acceptable quality manner and within expenditure of time and material, and according to all safety and GMP regulations. This includes, but is not limited to, material transfers, chemical reactions, distillations, sampling, and equipment cleaning.
- Document the manufacturing activities and revise accurately the required documentation (MBR's, LIMS, protocols, SOPs, Forms, Cleaning, EOA, etc.) and attend manufacturing process trainings.
- Coordinate process material transfers between control rooms and field operators, including Tank Farm, Environmental, and Manufacturing Areas.
- Follow the plant safety program and attend training related to Emergency Response Brigade, Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO), Work Permit, and Medical Surveillance.
- Complete manufacturing reports (Mass Balance, Visual Board, Downtime, OEE, Lot Required).
- Detect, react promptly to, and notify abnormal operating conditions. Perform field troubleshooting.
- Possess basic product and process knowledge.
- Support manufacturing shifts in overtime when requested by management.
- Be an active member of the Emergency Response Brigade and attend the required trainings and Medical Surveillance requirements associated with the Brigade.
Qualifications and Knowledge:
- Technical Diploma or Associate Degree in Science or related areas with zero 0 to one (1) year experience.
- Must be able to read and understand English and Spanish.
- Basic cGMP knowledge.
- Ability to operate electronic equipment.
- Timely desicion making. Information Skills and Technical Learning.
- Must possess good record-keeping skills.
- Must be able to work rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays.
- Able to interpret and apply maintenance, repair, inspection, and compliance codes or standards.
- Able to interpret and convert units of measure such as temperature, pressure, flow, area, mass, distance, volume, or others.
- Mathematical reasoning: add, subtract, multiply, divide, calculate percentages, and use a calculator or associated electronic equipment.
- Ability to follow written procedures and/or verbal instructions communicated via telephone, fax, or shortwave radios.
- Ability to understand technical drawings.
- Knowledge of sampling techniques.
