Position Title: Service Officer III
Duration: 7+ months (Possibility of Extension/Conversion into FTE)
Schedule: 9 am to 5 pm- Monday to Friday
Work Location: Markham, ON L3R 4H8 or Burlington, ON L7L 5Y7
Description:
Provide accurate, organized, and efficient administrative support; research information, sort mail, and perform other administrative assignments as required. Use software programs and other tools or equipment with ease and efficiency and provide documents/ information that effectively support the needs of the team. Efficiently manage expectations/concerns through strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Proactive and flexible to work in a changing environment.
The Claims Support role plays an integral role within the shared Services group, providing a high level of administrative support to our business partners ensuring the optimal level of customer service and professionalism is provided. The claims support administrator will be responsible to manage efficiently in a multi-tasked environment by promptly responding to all incoming enquiries/requests for a National and Regional Level. This role contributes to the legendary customer experience by collaborating with internal and external partners, to improve speed, accuracy, and efficiency of internal operations. The Claims Support staff must apply appropriate due diligence ensuring accuracy in completing tasks within SLA while mitigating risks and escalation.

Must have:
- Years of Overall Experience: 1 year admin
- Administrative experience.
- High School Diploma.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel and Word) – must be able to navigate a spreadsheet
- Basic knowledge and proficiency in MS Outlook.
- Adaptability- will work with many different tasks/clients.
- Need to be able to manage sensitive information.
- Need to be able to absorb a lot of information and process it
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment & efficiently manage workflow.
- Proactive and flexible to work in a changing environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Must be able to attend the office onsite 5 days a week. Shift time 9-5.
- Demonstrates sound judgement.
- Exceptional organizational skills.
- Excellent time management skills.
Nice To Have:
