Job Description/ Responsibilities :
We are seeking experienced DevOps and Site Reliability Engineers to support vulnerability remediation across containers, VMs, and applications running in GCP. Contractors will work closely with engineering teams to update dependent packages, base images, and operating systems, and deploy fixes through automated CI/CD pipelines.
Responsibilities
• Triage and remediate security vulnerabilities across containers, VMs, and application dependencies.
• Update OS packages, base images, open source libraries, and application code as needed.
• Rebuild and deploy workloads using CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.).
• Work within GCP services such as GKE, Compute Engine, and Artifact Registry.
• Use AI assisted tools in the Optum security dashboard, IDEs, and GitHub to accelerate analysis and patching.
• Collaborate with DevOps, SRE, and application teams.
Required Skills
• 5+ years in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Software Engineering.
• Strong experience with GCP, Kubernetes/GKE, Docker, Linux, and Windows.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and dependency management tools (npm, pip, Maven/Gradle, etc.).
• Comfort creating GitHub pull requests.

- All contractor resources are expected to demonstrate baseline proficiency in enterprise-approved AI tools as part of their day-to-day responsibilities. This includes, but is not limited to:
- Consistent Use: Maintain a minimum of 90% weekly usage of AI tools such as GitHub Copilot, Microsoft 365 Copilot, and other GenAI platforms approved by the enterprise.
- Applied Productivity: Leverage AI tools to enhance coding, documentation, data analysis, and decision-making workflows.
- Continuous Learning: Stay current with evolving AI capabilities and features, and apply them to improve delivery quality and velocity.
