Position Title: Project Coordinator
Work Location: North Chicago, IL 60064, Hybrid schedule - Lake County. (Onsite Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday)
Assignment Duration: 12 Months
Work Arrangement: Hybrid
Position Summary: Role supports the Talent Acquisition (TA) Operations & Innovation team. This role is part of the implementation of Phenom, a Candidate Relationship Management (CRM) platform within recruiting technology.
Background & Context:
Will act as a spokesperson for the TA team, representing TA within the implementation.
Responsible for: Capturing feedback from TA and communicating it to business partners. Helping teams understand what is needed vs not needed during implementation. There is an overall Project Manager leading the implementation. This role will support (not lead) the project from a TA perspective.
Works closely with: Talent Acquisition teams. Business Technology teams. Data & Analytics teams. Technical specialist supporting the implementation.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supporting understanding of business requirements and translating them into technical requirements.
• Supporting testing activities and coordination across TA stakeholders.
• Ensuring clarity and tracking of milestones, deliverables, and tasks for TA.
• Responsible for: Documenting TA-specific deliverables and milestones within the project.
• Strong focus on: Stakeholder communication and coordination. • Providing status updates on project progress.
Qualification & Experience:
• Strong project management / project coordination experience — critical.
• Strong communication skills — critical.
• Ability to work with multiple stakeholders and communicate across teams. • Ability to: Manage and track tasks, milestones, and deliverables. • Work across multiple workstreams within Talent Acquisition.
• Experience in: Talent Acquisition — preferred but not required. • Ability to: Understand and support TA workflows and deliverables. • Experience with: CRM platforms (specifically Phenom or similar) — preferred.
• Ability to: Support requirements gathering and translation (business to technical).
• Ability to: Support testing coordination across teams.
• Strong stakeholder and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Ability to: Work in a highly matrixed environment.
• Ability to: Work in a fast-paced environment with tight timelines. • Ability to: Provide clear updates on project status to stakeholders and leadership.
• Role expectation: Operate in a non-technical, functional coordination capacity. • Partner with technical specialists without being technical themselves
