Job Description
Title: Automation Network Engineer (DDI)
Location: Westlake TX, Durham NC or Merrimack NH
Hybrid model – alternating between 1 week onsite and 1 week remote on a continuous monthly basis)
Duration: 6 months
Shift: Mon-Fri 8-5 EST (Need flexibility for some nights or weekends. Or 4x10 hour days)

Skillset:
Team: Data Center and Network Services is dedicated to the overall global network engineering and support for Client Investments within Enterprise Infrastructure. The DDI (DNS, DHCP, and IPAM) Engineering team, within Data Center and Network Services, is primarily responsible for all Client DDI Infrastructure and its associated automation, including automated deployments, upgrades, and user self-service.
Role: The Automation Network Engineer will build new automation, support, and improve existing automation in our ongoing effort to reduce delivery time and improve our overall platform availability. Our platform infrastructure is a hybrid of on-prem and cloud, and the ideal candidate has experience supporting cloud-based applications and/or, strong cloud networking experience. This position will require a disciplined approach towards ITSM methodologies ensuring the delivery of information technology services to meet the needs of the business community.

- Experience in Infoblox and DNS or other DDI platforms.
- Design, manage and support Fidelity DDI infrastructure, on-prem and at CSPs.
- Team automation SME.

The Expertise You Have:
- Senior level automation experience using Python and Ansible Tower.
- Ability to build and deploy new automation solutions and troubleshooting existing automation.
- A minimum of 2-4 years of network engineering experience
- Experience in Infoblox and DNS or other DDI platforms.
- Ability to mentor and help develop engineering team in automation.
- Ability to develop and deploy DDI automation.
- Hands-on experience supporting hybrid cloud and on-prem environments.
- Extensive knowledge of TCP/IP, including application knowledge
- Network Engineering and Troubleshooting skills
- Experience with Linux and scripting.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot cloud networking issues.
- Experienced in change management best practices.
- Enterprise Security Policy knowledge and standard methodologies
- Agile methodologies
- Skilled verbally and with presenting to senior team members on strategic idea innovations
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Network Certifications a plus but not required
- SNOW development experience a plus
- Team automation SME.
- Design, manage and support Client DDI infrastructure, on-prem and at CSPs.
- Strong desire to become a DDI SME.
- Strong desire to learn load balancing and support and maintain load balancing automation.
- Consulting with Business Partners on standard methodologies and options
- Resolve complex issues related to DDI environments (on-call rotation)
- Work closely with all EI divisions to ensure 24x7 availability Network Services
