Job Title: Senior Field Safety Specialist/Manager
Project Locations: Kentucky, Arkansas, Iowa
Duration: 12 Months (Temp-to-Hire)
 
Work Schedule: 6 days / week, 10 - 12 hours/day (OT beyond 40 hours at 1.5x) | 4 days off every 4 weeks
Travel: 100% Travel (Mandatory), No base location preference
Candidate deployed directly to project site
Stay on project until completion - then redeployed
Per Diem offered - $150/day (continuous, even on off days | Travel home = paid from per diem)
 
Interview / Offer Flow:

• Project location usually discussed during interview
• Final location confirmed within ~24 hrs post interview
• Location may shift based on project timelines

 
Job Summary:

• Site safety program execution
• OSHA compliance + audits
• Incident investigation + reporting
• Safety walkthroughs with subcontractors
• Hazard assessments / pre-task planning
• Maintain safety documentation (audit-ready)
• Coordinate with PMs + safety teams

 
Must-have:

• Construction safety experience (field environment)
• Senior: 10 - 15/20 yrs, lead safety on site (independent)

Strong backgrounds:

• Construction (field or safety roles)
• Military (high success rate)

Certifications (nice to have):

• CHST / STSC - preffered
• CSP - good for senior (not required)

Other must-have:

• Basic Microsoft skills (Excel, PowerPoint, reporting)
