Job Description
Position Title: Principal Project Manager
Work Location: Vacaville CA 95688
Assignment Duration: 9 Months
Work Schedule: Mon - Fri 5x onsite 8am - 5pm
Work Arrangement: Onsite
Position Summary: Provide expert project management for site CAPEX projects.
Lead site tech transfer projects at our organization Vacaville site.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide expert project management for site CAPEX projects
• Lead site tech transfer projects at our organization Vacaville site
• Ability to lead multiple projects
• Lead cross-functional project teams in an operational cGMP manufacturing environment
• Successful planning, execution, monitoring, control and closure of assigned projects, including design, construction, safety, change control and commissioning.
• Ensure project are delivered on time and within cost target
• Communication of project status, risks, plans, and cost to management
• Compliance with governance procedures and processes
Qualification & Experience:
• Bachelors Degree required, 10+ years of experience required
• Expert in managing, organizing, distributing, developing, and implementing project delivery including work break-down structure, estimating, risk analysis, cGMP quality, critical path scheduling and safety
• Ability to successfully interact with and influence executives and lead multiple complex project teams
• Extensive theoretical and cross-functional expertise in the context of company objectives to independently address complex problems, determines methods and procedures on new assignments with work performed under limited direction, and establishes own work priorities and timelines
• Expertise in sourcing and contracting required external service providers including design, construction, equipment and qualification firms.
• Highly proficient with software applications related to projects and engineering, such as MS Project, Primavera, BIM, Procore, Bluebeam, etc.
• Highly experienced with executive level communication including project proposals, funding and status reviews.
• Extensive theoretical and cross-functional expertise in the context of company objectives to independently address and solve high risk, complex problems with business level impact.
• Ability to determines methods and procedures on new assignments with work performed under limited direction.
• Establishes own work priorities and timelines
