Job Title: Project Manager – PLG Growth & Monetization
Location: Remote, quarterly travel
Duration: 9+ Months
Top 3 must haves:
1. Proven PM execution in a complex, cross-functional environment. They should have concrete examples of running multiple workstreams at once, keeping stakeholders accountable, and maintaining comms cadences without being managed. "Collaborated cross-functionally" on a resume isn't enough.
2. PLG familiarity in a tech or SaaS context. Doesn't need to be an expert but should be able to hold a conversation about activation, self-serve funnels, and monetization without handholding. enough context to track the right things and ask the right questions.
3. Requirements facilitation. Specifically, the ability to sit between business and technical partners, pull structure out of ambiguity, and produce documentation that eng and product can act on. worth screening for this explicitly, it's where a lot of PM candidates are weaker than their resume suggests.
About the Team:
We're a Product-Led Growth (PLG) team embedded within the eCommerce business function. We focus on scaling nascent growth motions to accelerate new logo acquisition, drive revenue creation, and reduce customer acquisition costs. We do this primarily through product activation and monetization experiences.
Role Overview:
We're looking for a contract PM to help operationalize and scale our PLG initiatives. This person will work cross-functionally with business leaders, strategic and technical program managers, and technology, product, and marketing partners to keep high-priority work moving forward.

- Own project tracking across multiple concurrent PLG workstreams: standing up trackers, gathering requirements, managing timelines, and proactively surfacing risks
- Maintain clear, consistent communication with stakeholders via regular written updates and status syncs
- Drive accountability across cross-functional partners, following up on dependencies and keeping tasks moving
PLG Stack Requirements Facilitation
- Support business leads in capturing, structuring, and articulating requirements for the enterprise PLG technology stack
- Ensure requirements are clearly documented and effectively communicated to engineering and product partners in a format they can act on
- Serve as a coordination layer between business and technical stakeholders, reducing friction, closing gaps, and keeping the requirements process moving
Reporting & Metrics Synthesis
- Collect and consolidate PLG performance data from multiple disparate systems into unified views
- Help build and maintain reporting frameworks that tell a coherent story about PLG's revenue impact across the funnel, from activation through monetization
Experimentation & Insights Support
- Support the launch and tracking of PLG experiments across growth motions
- Aggregate results and synthesize insights into clear, actionable summaries for business and executive stakeholders
What We're Looking For:
- 4–6+ years of project or program management experience, preferably in a tech, SaaS, or ecommerce environment
- Familiarity with PLG concepts (activation, product monetization, self-serve funnels) is a strong plus
- Comfortable working with data from multiple sources; able to synthesize and present it clearly without being a data engineer
- Strong written and verbal communication; can translate technical and strategic concepts for varied audiences
- Experience working cross-functionally across product, engineering, and marketing teams
- Able to facilitate requirements-gathering processes: capturing, organizing, and translating business needs into clear documentation for technical partners
- Proficiency with project management tools (Asana, Jira, Monday, or similar) and collaborative docs (Confluence, Notion, etc.
