Job Title: Field Service Technician II
Location: Madison WI 53703
Duration: 3 months Assignment
Shift/Hours: 40hours/week
Work Model: Onsite, Travel within 20-30 miles
 
Summary:

• Maintains, analyzes, troubleshoots, and repairs computer systems, hardware and computer peripherals.
• Documents, maintains, upgrades or replaces hardware and software systems.
• Supports and maintains user account information including rights, security and systems groups.
• Trains employees, identifies, analyzes, and repairs product failures, orders and replaces parts as needed.
• Determines and recommends which products or services best fit the customers' needs.

 
Required Skills:

• May require an associate's degree or its equivalent.
• Requires at least 3 to 5 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
• Familiar with a variety of field’s concepts, practices, and procedures.
• Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
• Performs a variety of complicated tasks.
• Works under general supervision.
• A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.

Additional Details:
Primary day-to-day responsibilities entail for this person:

• Field dispatch service for break fix calls including PCs, laptops, printers, pos, and many other assorted products.

What will the work schedule be for this position:

• Monday thru Friday 9 to 6 with an on-call rotation for weekends and after hours.

• 1 to 2 years’ field service experience is needed, more is preferred.
