Duration: 5+ Months
Schedule: Wednesday–Friday, 6:00 PM – 6:30 AM
Job Purpose
The Manufacturing Material Handler supports the manufacturing and packaging departments by transporting raw materials and tableted products. The role also assists with filling blending dump stations, preparing pre-weigh intermediate containers, screening stearate products, and performing other assigned duties.

The Manufacturing Material Handler supports the manufacturing and packaging departments by transporting raw materials and tableted products. The role also assists with filling blending dump stations, preparing pre-weigh intermediate containers, screening stearate products, and performing other assigned duties.
- Ensure quality and compliance with established procedures and Quality System standards.
- Follow and support Haleon Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) policies; report incidents, near misses, property damage, and hazards immediately. Participate in quarterly safety audits as assigned.
- Locate, stage, and issue finished tablet bins for packaging; transport raw materials; collect and clean empty bins; remove trash and waste as needed; fill blending dump stations and pre-weigh containers.
- Operate material handling equipment such as work savers, stand-up/sit-down forklifts, and man lifts. Support associates with elevator and equipment use; train others on material handling equipment.
- Perform SAP tasks including creating material requests/transfer orders, confirming orders, managing handling units, and reviewing raw material and inventory information.
- Support production line performance and assist with line changeovers (cleaning, disassembly, reassembly, bin washing, equipment movement).
- Perform preventive maintenance and housekeeping work orders as required.
- Complete documentation accurately, supporting Right First Time results and KPI tracking.
- Work as part of a High-Performance Team and collaborate on cross-functional teams.
- Conduct general cleaning in GMP areas, maintain cleaning supplies, and operate cleaning equipment (floor scrubbers, pneumatic tools, pressure washers, buffers).
- Assist with operation and maintenance of manufacturing and packaging equipment.
- Perform additional tasks to support overall plant efficiency while adhering to operational safety, process safety, environmental, and quality requirements.
Knowledge, Education & Experience Requirements
A. Educational Background
- Minimum: High School Diploma or GED
Skills & Experience
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to lift 5–25 lbs frequently and occasionally handle drums, bags, and cases up to 50 lbs.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Flexible, team-oriented, and able to adapt to changing priorities.
- Self-motivated with a continuous improvement mindset; able to work with minimal supervision.
- Good organizational skills and interest in project management.
- Ability to operate computer applications (preferred).
- High attention to detail.
- Ability to operate work savers and stand-up/sit-down forklifts.
