Job Title: Inventory Control Mover
Shift: B Shift & C Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
Duration: 5+Months
Location:East Durham, NY
Job Summary
Are you energized by a warehouse operations role in a state-of-the-art manufacturing environment? The Inventory Control Mover 1 (ICM1) role offers an opportunity to build your skills while supporting inventory management of raw and packaging materials.
In this role, you will be responsible for inventory receipt, control, and movement using powered industrial trucks (PIT), while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency within warehouse operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform daily stock transaction reconciliation to ensure inventory accuracy
- Monitor near-expiry materials, delivery orders, and quarantine/manufacturing status
- Replenish materials when inventory levels are low
- Use ERP systems to manage and control inventory
- Track and ensure proper placement and compliance of equipment
- Ensure only clean, labeled materials are issued; manage disposal of rejected items
- Support continuous improvement initiatives in warehouse processes
- Supply materials in correct quantities and quality to production
- Perform accurate and timely data entry for inventory transactions
- Maintain a safe, compliant warehouse environment
- Operate powered industrial trucks (PIT) safely
- Learn and utilize SAP systems
- Continuously develop skills toward ICM Level 2
- Maintain strong safety, attendance, and conduct standards
- Follow all company policies, SOPs, and EHS regulations
- Promote company core values and respectful workplace behavior
Basic Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- Basic math skills
- English reading and writing proficiency
- Flexibility to work extended hours as needed
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Preferred Qualifications
- 1+ year experience in a fast-paced cGMP warehouse or manufacturing environment
- Experience with SAP or WMS systems
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
- Problem-solving and analytical skills
- Microsoft Office proficiency (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Experience in FDA-regulated environments
- PIT certification or experience
- Knowledge of Lean warehousing and continuous improvement
- Inventory control experience
- Receiving and shipping experience
