Position Title: Revenue Coordinator Transplant Collector (Medical Billing Associate 3)
Work Location: Houston, TX (Hybrid)
Assignment Duration: 6 Months (Contract-to-hire)
Schedule – 7 AM-4 PM CST
Description:
The Revenue Coordinator Transplant Collector is responsible for managing transplant AR and clinical data collection with a strong understanding of transplant program requirements and payer expectations.
This role requires comprehensive knowledge of all transplant phases, including evaluation, pre-transplant, transplant, and post-transplant follow-up.
The candidate must be proficient in interpreting transplant contracts, case rates, and common transplant-related denials to ensure accurate billing, reimbursement, and compliance.
The ideal candidate has experience in submitting transplant packets, configuring case rates, performing reconciliations, preparing appeals, and reviewing payer policies to ensure alignment with contract language and rate structures.
This position requires working knowledge of Solid Organ Transplantation, CAR T therapy, Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT), and donor harvesting processes for both HB and PB.
The Transplant Follow Up Collector collaborates closely with clinical teams, financial services, and payers to ensure accuracy in documentation, timely follow up, and resolution of outstanding items. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to navigate complex contracts and payer rules are essential for success in this role.
