Job Title: Warehouse Associate – Senior
Location: On-site Flowery Branch, GA (Distribution Center Operations)
Shift: Split/Evening Shift (11:00 AM – 7:00 PM)
Duration: 6 months
Job Summary
The Warehouse Associate – Senior is responsible for supporting daily warehouse and transportation operations, including the movement of materials, inventory handling, and the delivery of manufacturing supplies. This role ensures accurate documentation, safe operation of company vehicles and equipment, and adherence to all operational and safety protocols. The position also involves coordination across departments and maintaining inventory integrity.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate company vehicles to support inbound and outbound material movement between warehouse locations
- Handle transportation loads, ensuring accuracy of all associated documentation
- Perform loading, unloading, and put-away activities for all shipments
- Execute ERP system transactions related to pick, pack, ship (PPS), and inbound receipts
- Maintain inventory accuracy through proper handling and system updates
- Coordinate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth operations
- Operate PIV (Powered Industrial Vehicles) equipment safely and efficiently
- Ensure all equipment and vehicles are clean, safe, and in proper working condition
- Follow all safety guidelines to protect employees, equipment, and materials
- Assist with general warehouse operations and additional duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
Education:
- High School Diploma or GED preferred (not mandatory)
Experience:
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in warehouse operations
- Hands-on experience with warehouse management systems and ERP platforms
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer usage
Skills & Competencies
- Strong communication and coordination skills
- Basic mathematical aptitude
- Proficiency in operating desktop systems and warehouse tools
- Working knowledge of warehouse processes and procedures
- Ability to provide guidance and distribute work when required
Certifications & Requirements
- Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
- Experience operating PIV equipment
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds unassisted
Work Environment & Safety
- Use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is mandatory, including safety glasses, steel-toed boots, and gloves
- Adherence to all company safety policies and operational procedures is required
