Job Description

The Role 
We are seeking a high-caliber CPQ BSA to serve as the functional architect of our Quote-to-Cash ecosystem. You won’t just be managing fields; you’ll be defining how our products are priced, bundled, and sold. You must possess a deep understanding of the business mechanics behind discounting, approvals, and renewals, paired with the technical savvy to know when to use out-of-the-box features versus custom builds. You will partner with the Business Product Owner of CPQ to help author the backlog of requirements, coordinate testing efforts, and drive the future state of our CPQ processes.
 
Job Description:
  • Serves as the functional architect of the Quote-to-Cash ecosystem, defining how products are priced, bundled, and sold. 
  • Partners with the CPQ Business Product Owner to author requirements, coordinate testing, and drive future CPQ processes.
  • Balances out-of-the-box features with custom builds and manages complex pricing logic.
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Process Engineering: Lead the design and optimization of CPQ workflows, including product configuration, complex pricing logic, and multi-tier approval chains.
  • Technical Advisory: Provide expert guidance on the possibilities and limitations of CPQ platforms to ensure scalable, maintainable solutions.
  • Stakeholder Alignment: Act as a liaison between Sales Operations, Finance, and IT to translate business requirements into technical user stories.
  • System Ownership: Support the end-to-end lifecycle of CPQ enhancements, from discovery and UAT to deployment and post-go-live support.
  • Requirements & Qualifications
  • Core Expertise: Proven experience as a BSA focused on Salesforce CPQ or Salesforce Revenue Cloud, as well as having the ability to Bridge the gap between business stakeholders and technical teams by converting high-level business requirements into clear, actionable system user stories.
  • Modern Tech Stack: Familiarity with Agentforce Revenue Management or equivalent platforms like Apttus/Conga CPQ is a significant plus.
  • Business Acumen: A full understanding of the business aspects of CPQ (e.g., ARR/NRR calculations, proration, and subscription lifecycles).
  • Problem Solver: Ability to navigate the trade-offs between "standard functionality" and "business-specific needs."
