Job Title: Big Data/Machine Learning Engineer
Location: Plano, TX (Hybrid 3 Days onsite in every week)
Duration: 12 months (Possibility of Extension)
Job Description:
A Big Data/Machine Learning Engineer at Client productionizes AI models and builds data-intensive systems using Python, Scala, and Spark in AWS. These roles focus on creating scalable machine learning solutions, maintaining models in production, and working in Agile teams across AI, finance, risk management, and marketing departments.
Key Responsibilities
Productionization & Scaling: Building and optimizing machine learning applications using cloud platforms (AWS).
Data Pipeline Development: Creating robust data pipelines to handle large-scale data for model training.
Model Management: Maintaining, monitoring, and retraining models in production.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Working with data scientists, Product Managers, and Risk teams to deploy AI solutions.
Governance & Ethics: Ensuring responsible AI practices and data compliance.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Experience: 4+ years of experience in programming and 3+ years in designing data-intensive solutions.
Programming: Strong proficiency in Python, Scala, or Java.
Tools/Frameworks: Experience with Spark, scikit-learn, PyTorch, Dask, or TensorFlow.
Big Data Tech: Proficiency in distributed computing and cloud-based architecture (AWS).
Education: Bachelor’s Degree.
