Job Description/ Responsibilities
Job Summary
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time.
• Analyze the production and disaster recovery environments looking for inconsistencies. If differences are found, updates will need to be made.
• Install Connect:Direct on Linux, AIX & Windows DR servers.
• Add/update DR mainframe and distributed jobs to match their production equivalent.
• Research jobs/scripts and Connect:Direct configuration settings on mainframe, Linux, AIX & Windows environments.
• Attend and sometimes lead recurring project status meetings via conference call.
• Multi-task and work independently, while applying logic and discretion.
• Applies in-depth knowledge of application support and an understanding of best practices.
Required Qualifications:

• Proven experience in file transfer or data integration roles.
• Strong knowledge of file transmission protocols, especially Connect:Direct (NDM).
• Understanding of network protocols, firewall configuration, and security concepts.
• Experience with IBM mainframe (TSO), Windows, and Linux environments.
• Ability to perform a broad range of tasks and project assignments concurrently through effective prioritization of work.
• Be self-motivated and self-managing, demonstrating sound judgement and effective decision making.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to data integrity and security.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Banking or financial services experience.
• Good understanding of mainframe batch job processing.
• Experience with Connect:Direct Secure+ and/or Certificate Management.
• IBM/Sterling File Gateway experience.
• Experience with ChangeMan ZMF.
