Job Summary:
In this role, you will monitor and organize direct hire or subcontractor planning, safety, quality, and technical activities on a complex project with multiple stakeholders’ involvement, through the coordination and instruction of subcontractor’s management staff. Your field supervision will help ensure operations are planned to coincide with overall established schedules and that work methods are planned and executed safely. #LI-NP1

Job Summary:

Major Responsibilities:
- Monitors and organizes subcontractor activities, through coordination and instruction of subcontractor’s management staff within the area of responsibility.
- Monitors direct hire or subcontractor construction schedules, resource charts, and material and equipment requirements.
- Prepares Direct Hire methods, schedules, manning charts, and material and equipment requirements and/or reviews subcontractor construction methods, schedules, manning charts, and material and equipment requirements.
- Coordinates the construction operations impact on external interfaces to ensure they coincide with the overall established schedules.
- Monitors installation of materials and equipment to assure conformance with drawings, specifications, vendor, and other requirements
- Enforces policies, procedures and related work rules as established by field construction management.
- Supports Construction Field Engineers, Foremen, and Craft Professionals, in interpreting Engineering design documents, vendor documents, and other technical documents
- Coordinates engineering solutions with Subcontractors, and Foremen and Craft Professionals.
- Coordinates with Design on constructability issues.
- Requires bachelor's degree and 8-10 years of relevant experience or 12-14 years of relevant work experience.
- Familiar with construction tools and equipment as well as their uses.
- Extensive technical knowledge and experience in electrical operations; to ensure adequate coordination with all stakeholders for smooth and safe execution.
- Technical knowledge and experience in electrical codes and operations; to ensure adequate coordination with all stakeholders for smooth and safe execution.
- Proficient in Microsoft suite in word processing, spreadsheet, and database applications
- Experience managing union craft.
- Heavy industrial US direct hire construction experience
- Extensive working knowledge of construction planning, monitoring and control.
- Knowledge of the use of subcontracts; knowledge of the contractor/subcontractor's responsibilities contained in subcontract documents.
- Knowledge and understanding of the application and requirements of the Project Environmental, Safety & Health (ES&H) Handbook and the client Core Processes as they relate to area of responsibility.
- Knowledge of safety and relevant OSHA requirements and regulations.
