Job Title: Marketing Budget Operations, Finance Specialist
Duration: 5+ Months
Location: Waterloo, ON (preferred) or Richmond Hill, ON
(4 days a week in office until end of August, 5 days a week starts from September)
 
Job Overview:

• The Marketing Budget Operations Finance Specialist reports directly to the Director, Global Marketing Budgets and is responsible for supporting the financial needs and requirements of Global Marketing initiatives. 
• They will require working closely with key stakeholders and by taking ownership of concise and accurate tracking and reporting.

You Are Great At:  

• Tracking and monitoring budget requests for global marketing activities and liaise with Procurement and Accounts Payable to ensure accuracy of results as required.
• Providing support to regional management for budget and procurement needs, by meeting monthly with key stakeholders and raising purchase requests to ensure timely & accurate financial results.
• Analyze and provide recommendations for improvements to refine, maintain & improve upon existing or new processes.
• Driving consistency and efficiency in the procurement process and management of external vendors.
• Developing relationships with key stakeholders and internal customers & partners.

What It Takes:

• Experience working with budget tracking and expense management
• Good knowledge of datamining and analysis
• Exceptional communication both written and verbal, with the ability to listen and understand client needs
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to grasp concepts quickly and have the thirst for knowledge
• Positive attitude, patience, understanding, dedication and commitment
• 1- 2 years’ relevant professional work experience
