Title: Warehouse Worker I
Duration: 5+ months
Shift/Work Schedule: 1^st Shift. Mon – Fri. 8am - 5pm.
Location: Burlington, NC 27215

Description:

• The main function of this position will be to assemble, store and issue materials, equipment and other items from the stockroom and warehouse at the IT Logistics Center.

Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Assemble and maintain accurate count of product needed to complete the project. This product includes but is not limited to enclosures, floor stands, boxes, foam inserts, and ID tray kits.
• Request stock replenishment of the parts needed to assemble product when running low.
• Digitally and physically move stock from one location to another as needed.
• Clean and maintain supplies, tools, equipment, and storage areas in order to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Store items in an orderly and accessible manner in the warehouse, stockroom, shelves, or other areas.
• Examine and inspect stock items for wear or defects, reporting any damage to supervisors.
• Provide assistance or direction to other workers as needed.

Skills:

• Able to use an electric screwdriver (low-powered drill).
• Team player and detail oriented.
• Verbal and written communication skills, analytical and problem-solving ability.
• Able to drive a forklift is preferred but not required.

Education/Experience:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 0-2 years experience in a warehouse environment.
• Previous experience driving a forklift is preferred but not required.

Required Skills:  

• Previous warehouse experience.
• Able to use an electric screwdriver (low-powered drill).
• Verbal and written communication skills, analytical and problem-solving ability.

Preferred Skills:    

• Forklift experience.
