Job Title: Quality Control Testing Technician - I
Duration: 12 Months
Location: Andover, MA 01810
Weekly Schedule: 40 hours (Monday–Friday)
Shift Times: 1st Shift (with occasional weekend & holiday coverage)
Job Summary
This role is based in a Quality Control Microbiology Laboratory supporting daily operations on the first shift. The position involves performing microbiological testing to support manufacturing processes across various sample types. The individual will be expected to balance laboratory testing with documentation and administrative support in a regulated environment.

Job Summary

Job Responsibilities
- Perform microbiological testing on raw materials, in-process, bulk, and finished product samples
- Execute testing methods such as bioburden, endotoxin, biological indicators, PCR, and microbial identification
- Support process and cleaning validation testing activities
- Interpret and document results in compliance with established procedures and data integrity standards
- Operate within regulated laboratory systems and maintain compliance with quality requirements
- Assist with equipment validation and other laboratory-related projects
- Contribute to SOP updates, investigation documentation, and reporting activities
- Support training of new team members when required
- Maintain flexibility to perform both lab-based and office-related tasks
- Ability to perform both laboratory and desk-based work
- Capable of standing, walking, and sitting for extended durations
- Skilled in handling laboratory instruments and equipment
- Ability to read, understand, and follow technical procedures accurately
- First shift role with standard weekday schedule
- Occasional weekend and holiday work based on operational needs
- Work performed in a controlled laboratory environment
- Follow all safety protocols and laboratory compliance standards
- Adhere to aseptic techniques and gowning procedures
- Ensure accuracy, quality, and regulatory compliance in all tasks
