Job Description

Job Title: Change and Organization Development Strategist
Duration-  6 months -Hybrid – WFH on Mondays and Fridays, in-office Tuesdays through Thursdays
Location: New York, NY 10010
Work Schedule: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week

Shift Hours: Flexible 7.5-hour shift, between 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM or 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM, including a 30-minute lunch break
Conversion Potential: Yes – Opportunity for full-time conversion based on performance and fit

Role Overview

This is an exciting opportunity to support an Enterprise Change and Organizational Development (OD) Center of Excellence. The team plays a key role in supporting leaders, managers, and employees through organizational change by preparing them for new skills, behaviors, and ensuring adoption of change initiatives.

This role requires a consultative mindset and strong execution skills, partnering with business stakeholders to deliver change management and organizational development strategies that drive large-scale transformations while maintaining a strong focus on employee engagement and organizational culture.

Key Responsibilities

Change Management Strategy

  • Apply structured change management methodologies, tools, and processes to support project adoption

  • Develop and execute change management plans aligned with business objectives

  • Conduct stakeholder analysis and change impact assessments

  • Identify and manage resistance to change

  • Consult and coach project teams on driving change initiatives

Organization Development

  • Diagnose organizational needs and apply OD techniques to improve effectiveness

  • Design and deliver talent development and organizational programs (e.g., leadership coaching, development planning)

Measurement & Evaluation

  • Establish metrics to measure success of change initiatives

  • Conduct evaluations to assess impact and outcomes aligned with business goals

Required Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of experience in Change Management and/or Organizational Development

  • Experience supporting complex transformation initiatives

  • Strong experience with stakeholder engagement, impact assessments, and change strategy execution

  • Excellent communication and influencing skills across all organizational levels

  • Strong project management skills with proficiency in MS Office and collaboration tools

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Organizational Development, I/O Psychology, or related field

  • PROSCI Change Management Certification

  • Experience in financial services or large corporate environments

  • Strong ability to build relationships, foster collaboration, and drive employee engagement
