Highly motivated and responsible Research Associate to join the Trait Discovery Mass Spectrometry (TDMS) team. This role focuses on supporting protein analysis workflows using enzymatic digestion, high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC), and mass spectrometry techniques.
The candidate will play a key role in ensuring timely and high-quality lab results through efficient lab operations, sample preparation, and analytical support.
Key Responsibilities

Prepare lab reagents and maintain inventory

Perform routine laboratory support tasks:

Solution preparation

Lab cleaning and maintenance
-
Lab supply inventory management
-
Equipment and assay operation
-

Conduct:

Sample extraction
-
Total protein quantitation
-
Enzymatic digestion
-

Assist in loading and running samples on:

Chromatography systems
-
Mass spectrometry instruments
-

Troubleshoot processes and resolve technical issues

Ensure all materials are prepared safely and on time

Promote a safe working environment

Identify and implement process improvement opportunities
Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, or related field (or equivalent experience)

Strong wet-lab skills

Ability to work both independently and in a team environment

High attention to detail and focus

Problem-solving and analytical skills

Self-motivated and goal-oriented

Excellent written, verbal, and organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications

Experience with protein analysis
