Qualifications:

• BS/MS in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field plus 0-4 years of experience (or)
• Prior experience in Hair Color/Care or Consumer Products formulation.
• Strong problem-solving skills and positive attitude.
• Strong communication and analytical skills. Quick learner.
• Strong data management (excel etc.)

 
Responsibilities:
Short Term Temporary Position Job Description

• Position will include as tasks to successfully make hair color laboratory batches, conducting product stability, evaluate color performance, and record and report results.
• Experience with lab equipment such as batching equipment, pH meters, viscometer, and Microsoft applications, and interaction with raw material suppliers a plus.
• Ability to lift bulk materials, fill consumer laboratory samples, and prepare hair tresses with application of consumer products and CGMP practices required.
• Assist in the maintenance of laboratory raw materials, glassware, supplies, and waste.
• Communicate formulation stability and efficacy results.
