Position Title: Viral Inspection II (3rd Shift)
Work Location: Swiftwater, PA
Assignment Duration: 12 Months
Work Schedule: Rotating schedule including weekends, holidays, and overtime as necessary. Two days off per week (may not be consecutive and may vary week to week).

Position Summary:
Employees will inspect vials containing the vaccine for proper levels, foreign objects and particulates. This can be done from a sitting or standing position, sometimes using a large fluorescent magnifying glass.
Key Responsibilities:
• Inspect vials containing the vaccine for proper levels, foreign objects and particulates
• Inspect syringes that are capped and sealed
• Package or move packages, which includes use of a pallet jack
• Concentrate for long periods of time with a desire for high quality work
• Attend ongoing training classes and assessments throughout the assignment
Qualification & Experience:
• Lift a minimum of 30 pounds, and be able to push and pull a minimum of 50 pounds
• Good reading and writing skills, must be able to document
• Good communication skills; reading, writing and speaking
• Able to sit or stand for long periods of time • Position contingent on passing eye exam
• Each area requires the ability to concentrate for long periods of time
• Must have a high desire to produce quality work
• Ok working in a semi fast paced environment
• Must be able to work under tight deadlines and strict processes
• Basic computer skills
• Excellent eyesight
• Attention to detail, legible documentation
• Can tolerate tedious, repetitive tasks
• Leadership skills, supportive of others and promoting team work (1st Shift preference)
• Take initiative, be eager to learn (3rd Shift preference)
• Years of Experience: 3 - 6 Years
Working Conditions & Physical Demands (If Applicable):
Every employee must be able to work weekends, holidays and overtime if necessary. Jewelry and makeup are not allowed on the floor. Perfume, hairspray, cologne, aftershave and/or any scents are not permitted. Long fingernails and nail polish are not allowed. The attire includes sterile scrubs and gowns, hairnets, beard covers, safety glasses and steel toe boots. There may be extended gowning for higher grade areas.
