Job Title: Collections Coordinator
Duration: 6 months (Contract To Hire possibility)
Location: Alpharetta, GA ( 4 days onsite - M-Th / 1 day remote - F)
Job Overview:-
The Collections Coordinator has responsibility for management of a specifically assigned AR portfolio, researches and resolves over & under payments, and facilitates the collection of past due invoices, while ensuring customer satisfaction.
Daily Tasks & Responsibilities (include, but not limited to):-
If Addition Physical Demands Beyond Desk Work:
Physical: Employee must be able to use a computer and phone to conduct business. This includes the ability to walk, sit, use hands, talk, see, and hear.
Work environment: Fun, fast paced work environment designed to drive the client's tribal culture and No Excuses mentality. Open floor plan with moderate noise.

Job Overview:-
The Collections Coordinator has responsibility for management of a specifically assigned AR portfolio, researches and resolves over & under payments, and facilitates the collection of past due invoices, while ensuring customer satisfaction.
Daily Tasks & Responsibilities (include, but not limited to):-
- Make collection calls to customers to collect on past due accounts.
- Troubleshoot billing discrepancies.
- Proactively communicate with customers to ensure timely payment.
- Correspond by emails, phone calls and letters with internal and external customers to resolve errors in accounts, investigate complaints, verify accuracy of charges, and collect past due balances.
- Resolve data discrepancies when customer remittance information does not match what is expected.
- Research unapplied cash to identify invoices for which payment was intended or refund, to be determined on a case by case basis.
- Research short pays, working with both the external customer and internally with the customer representative.
- Issue and mail customer statements, as requested.
- Escalate collection matters to management that are unable to be resolved.
- Support annual and ad-hoc audit requests, as needed.
- Other miscellaneous duties as assigned.
- Excellent math skills.
- Proficient with MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Ability to identify and solve problems, perform under pressure, and meet deadlines.
- Superior customer service skills.
- Strong reconciliation skills.
- Work with little or no supervision, and work well in a team setting.
- Excellent communication skills, time management skills, and strong attention to detail.
- High school degree or equivalent required.
- Previous collections experience required.
- Accounting degree or experience preferred.
- Bachelor Degree in related field
