Role: Phlebotomist/Medical Assistant
Location: Phoenix, AZ 85302
Duration: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
 
Overview: Join a dedicated healthcare team as a Phlebotomist/Medical Assistant, where you will play a vital role in patient care through skilled venipuncture and medical assistance. This position requires a strong background in medical assisting and a commitment to providing high-quality healthcare services.
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Perform autonomous venipuncture with precision and care
• Assist in various medical procedures and patient care tasks
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Adhere to safety and infection control protocols

Required Qualifications:

• 6 months of autonomous venipuncture experience (excluding school/externship)
• Graduated from a postsecondary Medical Assistant program accredited by CAAHEP or ABHES, or completed relevant training by the armed forces
• Possess a Medical Assistant certification from an accredited organization (e.g., AMCA, AMT, AAMA, NHA, NCCT)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Active or previously active Medical Assistant certification from recognized organizations
