Duration: 12 Months
Location: Remote- PST preferred
Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Program Manager to support Hardware Design TPMs in driving engineering design deliverables, managing hardware component delivery, and creating development schedules.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of product development processes, familiarity with product design and fabrication processes, and strong written and verbal communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
• Support Hardware Design TPMs in coordinating and driving engineering design deliverables, including specifications, DOE, and validation plans
• Manage delivery of hardware components for development builds and drive qualification to meet mass production timelines
• Create development, delivery, and qualification schedules based on system requirements, technical challenges, lead times, and business needs
• Manage program structure to optimize clarity and efficiency for program teams and leadership
• Communicate program status updates, identifying potential risks or setbacks, including vendor tooling schedules and design sprints
• Manage communication within and between internal cross-functional teams and external partners
• Ensure program documentation is complete, current, and accessible for staff and leadership review
Minimum Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of experience working as a technology development program manager in consumer electronics
• Experience working with overseas suppliers of hardware components
• Experience with ODM, JDM, and CM vendor engagement models
• Knowledge of phase-gate approaches to technology development programs
• Experience with mechanical system development, design for manufacturing (DFM), tooling, validation, and characterization processes
• Strong communication, planning, and organizational skills with high attention to detail
• Knowledge of program top issue tracking
• Experience working across multiple teams and programs simultaneously

• Material drives to system builds
• DOE and Build Matrix definition and planning
• Scheduling and planning of hardware engineering deliverables
• Support hardware program planning and build strategy
Preferred Qualifications
• Prior experience in a hardware engineering role
• Experience working with large cross-functional teams and multiple stakeholders
