Job Description

Job Title: Engineering Project Coordinator III / Engineering Program Specialist
Location: Redmond, WA / Sunnyvale, CA (Onsite/Hybrid as required)
Duration: 12-Month Contract


Role Overview

We are seeking an Engineering Program Specialist / Engineering Project Coordinator to support hardware product development programs within the Core Engineering organization. In this role, you will partner closely with Technical Program Managers (TPMs) and cross-functional teams to ensure hardware components and resources are delivered on time to support development milestones.

The ideal candidate will have experience working in consumer electronics hardware environments, managing procurement, logistics, and program coordination while collaborating with internal teams and global vendors.


Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with Technical Program Managers and engineering teams to support hardware program execution and timelines.

  • Collect and manage hardware allocation requests, ensuring accurate distribution across multiple programs.

  • Track and manage procurement activities, including purchase orders, budgets, and forecasting.

  • Coordinate with logistics teams and vendors to ensure the timely shipment and delivery of hardware components.

  • Maintain and manage complex spreadsheets and tracking systems to monitor program resources and logistics.

  • Work cross-functionally with engineering, finance, operations, and supply chain teams to support program needs.

  • Manage multiple concurrent programs and ensure updates are communicated to stakeholders across time zones.

  • Support program documentation, status tracking, and operational coordination for hardware development initiatives.


Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience as an Engineering Program Specialist, Project Coordinator, or similar role.

  • Experience supporting hardware development programs, preferably in consumer electronics environments.

  • Experience coordinating with global vendors and cross-functional teams.

  • Strong proficiency with Excel and complex spreadsheet management.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage procurement tracking, logistics coordination, and program documentation.

  • Excellent communication, organization, and stakeholder management skills.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in fast-paced hardware product development environments.

  • Familiarity with supply chain coordination, budgeting, and purchase order management.

  • Experience supporting large cross-functional engineering teams across multiple geographies.


Work Environment

  • Work closely with engineering, supply chain, logistics, and program management teams.

  • Fast-paced environment supporting hardware development and product launches.

  • Requires strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
