Job Title: Customer Service Representative I
Work Location: Jacksonville, FL
100% Onsite
Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Durations: 45 days
Project Overview
- Hiring 9 Customer Service Representatives for a Payment Services project.
- Team processes payments for a high-volume insurance client after contractors complete repair work.
- Client sends payments to the company, and the team processes payments to contractors.
- Currently facing a large backlog due to very high volume of requests and emails.
Key Responsibilities
- Review contractor deliverables before payment processing, including:
- Work authorization
- Direction to Pay (DTP)
- Form A (signed)
- Certificate of completion
- Labeled photos showing completed work
- Verify all required documents are uploaded to the assignment.
- Monitor and respond to high-volume payment status emails from contractors and clients (thousands per day).
- Document file notes confirming receipt of payment and amount.
- Review whether the contractor completed the job; if not completed within 3 days, payment may be reimbursed to the client.
- Some reps may be trained to:
- Process payments in the system
- Mail checks
- Team members may be rotated between different steps based on daily staffing needs.
Required Skills
- Strong attention to detail and patience.
- Basic customer service and email communication skills.
- Administrative/clerical experience preferred.
Computer Skills
- Very basic computer skills required.
- Minimal Excel knowledge, including:
- Opening and accessing Excel files
- Searching for claim numbers
- Adding comments in spreadsheets for verification.
Experience Requirements
- Entry-level (Level I) role.
- No specific industry experience required.
- Candidates will receive full training.
Interview Process
- Phone screening/interview only due to urgency.
Background Check / Payment Handling
- Reps will not handle payments directly.
- They will enter payment details in the system, but not physically manage funds.
