Job Description

Location: Guayama, PR
Pay Rate: $14.00 / Hourly (Plus shift differential)
Shifts: Must have full availability to work rotating shifts based on business needs. Work schedules are subject to change and may include, but are not limited to, the following shifts:
  • 1st shift:  6:00 AM - 2:00 PM
  • 2nd shift: 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM
  • 3rd shift: 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM
Job Purpose:
To provide direct support in the manufacturing and packaging process.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Use, storage, maintenance, and cleaning of all equipment within the relevant areas in the Manufacturing Operations Department, as per approved documentation including SOPs, batch documents, POs, etc.
  • Achievement of operational targets including, but not limited to, OEE, RFT, documentation error, changeover (C/O), and waste reduction targets.
  • Involvement with work center–based teams and teamwork initiatives including, but not limited to, the design, development, and implementation of teamwork-based projects (e.g., audits, inspections, project implementation).
  • Involvement and active participation in continuous improvement projects and GPS training, including instruction of fellow operatives as designated by the relevant supervisor.
  • Accurate reporting of department measures, metrics, and controls that may be assigned.
  • Maintenance and control of specialized equipment and tools in relevant areas.
  • Completion of all manufacturing and packaging in-process testing as per approved documentation, including SOPs, batch documents, and policies.
  • Other duties may be assigned on a discretionary basis as required by new developments or changes to the role.
  • Ensure Halal requirements are met in accordance with the General Guidelines of the Halal Assurance System LPPOM MUI for applicable medical device products and markets.
  • Compliance with safety standards, policies, and procedures when conducting or carrying out normal duties or work practices.
  • Report all near misses, accidents, or dangerous occurrences to the Department Manager or Supervisor immediately, or as soon as practicable thereafter.
  • Document all near misses and accidents in conjunction with the Team Leader or Supervisor.
  • Cast the right shadow and lead by example.
  • Compliance with quality standards, procedures, policies, SOPs, and all other approved documentation.
Requirements/Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED, required.
  • Previous experience desirable but not essential, as full training will be given.
  • Ability to follow simple written and/or oral instructions and operate simple equipment.
  • Bilingual (basic knowledge of written English comprehension).
