Job Description
Title: Engineering Technician 2
Location: San Deigo, CA
Duration: 12 Months with posibility of extension or conversion
Team Overview:
The Sensor Process Development team is responsible for global ownership and support of sensor development and manufacturing. As part of the Operations organization, the team focuses on process modernization and continuous improvement to enhance sensor safety, accuracy, and reliability. The team includes professionals with diverse technical expertise and experience levels, fostering a collaborative environment that supports innovative solutions. The role works closely with engineers to support sensor process development activities and assist with data collection for evaluation.

Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and shut down production equipment according to established procedures
- Execute process development instructions provided by engineering teams
- Collect, organize, and maintain process data for evaluation and review
- Support engineering activities related to sensor process development
- Perform additional duties as assigned
- Familiarity with Microsoft Excel, Word, Teams, and Outlook
- General computer proficiency
- Ability to support problem-solving activities in a structured environment
- Capability to complete assigned tasks and meet established goals
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to follow engineering instructions and approved procedures
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
- Strong reliability and punctuality
- Knowledge working in analytical laboratory
- Technical writing skills (routine reports, correspondence)
