Job Description:
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior SAP Finance Consultant with deep expertise in SAP S/4HANA Finance, a strong understanding of global accounting processes, and a proven track record of leading complex finance transformation programs. The ideal candidate will act as the primary point of contact and subject matter expert for all SAP FI-related issues, providing strategic and operational guidance across finance functions. This role will lead end to end SAP implementations, drive continuous improvement in financial system design, and support business teams in optimizing processes to achieve operational excellence.


Responsible for designing, developing, modifying, and evaluating programs for internal functional areas including finance, human resources, and marketing. Analyzes existing programs or formulates logic for new systems, devises logic procedures, prepares flowcharting, performs coding, and tests/debugs programs. Develops conversion and system implementation plans. Prepares and obtains approval of system and programming documentation. Recommends changes in development, maintenance, and system standards. Trains users in conversion and implementation of system.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Solution Design & Delivery

• Design, configure, and optimize SAP FI modules: General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting (AA), Bank Accounting

 
2. SAP S/4HANA Expertise

• Implement and enhance S/4HANA Finance innovations including Universal Journal (ACDOCA), New Asset Accounting, Fiori Apps, and Embedded Analytics.

 
3. Cross-Functional Integration

• Collaborate with teams across enterprises to ensure seamless end-to-end process integration.
• Support integrations with banking platforms, treasury systems, tax engines, and third-party financial applications.

 
4. Support & Continuous Improvement

• Provide Level 3 application support for finance modules.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and deliver enhancements aligned with business needs.

 
Required Qualifications:

• 10+ years of SAP FICO consulting experience depending on seniority level.
• Minimum 2 full lifecycle implementations in SAP S/4HANA Finance.
• Strong functional expertise in SAP Finance with demonstrated configuration proficiency
• Configure and support FI modules: G/L, A/P, A/R, Asset Accounting, Bank Accounting.
• Support financial closing, consolidation, costing, and reporting processes.
• Support integrations involving bank connectivity, payment files, lockbox, and automatic bank statements.
• Hands on S/4HANA experience including Fiori apps and Analysis for Office.
• Hands-on experience with interfaces, IDocs, BAPIs, APIs, and basic debugging.
• Exceptional analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Functional testing and Integration Testing.
• Validate report requirements and support custom enhancements.
• Experience with multi company code/multi currency environments.
• Support go live activities, hyper care, and post production support.
• Self-starter with sharp decision-making skills, ability to multitask, work independently, and prioritize in a fast-paced and changing environment.
