Job Description
The Manufacturing Operator / Manufacturing Operator I is accountable for executing thelowest level of manufacturing operating steps on batches of products utilizing the properequipment and following instructions defined in applicable safety policies, procedures, and BatchProduction Records in either electronic or paper format.The operating steps include equipment preparation for manufacturing, cleaning procedures,setup, as well as the operation of multiple pieces of equipment located within a designated workcenter (Equipment Preparation, Weighing, Granulation, Blending, Compression, Coating,Branding and Encapsulation). This position is expected to perform multiple repetitive and routinetasks following established written standard operating procedures (SOPs) to successfullymanufacture/package the product.Responsabilidades (mximo de 10) (Key Responsibilities -10 bullet points maximum)Describir las responsabilidades claves que el titular del puesto debe realizar.(Describe the key deliverables to be achieved by the post holder and the ongoing responsibilities of the role)Apply safety policies and GMP knowledge in daily operations involving self and other teammembers (i.e., LOTO {Lock-Out/Tag-Out}, Personal Protective Equipment {PPE} utilization,housekeeping, gowning, and good documentation practices).Perform cleaning process in the manufacturing rooms, washroom, equipment and general areaas per respective SOPs. Maintain process equipment and clothing as per established SOPs.Assure that all components and equipment are ready for manufacturing when needed. Settingup, loading & unloading, cleaning and operating equipment such as blenders, compressingmachines, and coaters following weekly manufacturing schedule and related SOPs. Transfermaterials between work centers as needed. Operate analog and digital controls andinstruments on the manufacturing equipment.Know and follow instructions on Manufacturing and Production Records (paper or electronic):Monitor operating parameters and physical attributes of product/process during eachrespective manufacturing step. Address process deviations immediately and participate introubleshooting with other team members.Manufacturing processes and operations: Weighing, Granulation, Blending, Compression,Coating, Branding and Encapsulation.Participate actively in process improvement projects.Exhibit Company values and work in a team environment to accomplish individual/team goalsin the manufacture of products.Minor maintenance of equipment and instruments Preventive Maintenance (PM): Assist inroutine preventive maintenance, minor repairs, and provide support to basic troubleshooting ofmanufacturing equipment and instruments.Prepare/produce manufacturing operation steps on batches of products utilizing the properequipment.Apply safety policies and GMP knowledge in daily operations involving self and other teammembers (i.e., LOTO {Lock-Out/Taghousekeeping, gowning, and good documentation practices).Perform cleaning process in the manufacturing rooms, washroom, equipment and general areaas per respective SOPs.
