Power BI Developer
9 months+ contract
Fresno, CA-Hybrid (2-4 days a months onsite)

Fresno, CA-Hybrid (2-4 days a months onsite)
****Local Candidates Only**** within Service Territory.
- The role is hybrid with 2-4 days a Month which encompasses working from office or field site visits, team meetings.
- May expense for work related travel and training with prior client manager's approval
- The External monitors are to be purchased by worker and with prior client Manager's approval, can be submitted as expense for reimbursement. If reimbursed, these monitors should be returned to the client at the offboarding
- The regular mouse, keyboard, docking station, HDMI connectors, wires must be personal.
Proficiency/Required Skills:
- Power BI reporting using a variety of data sources including Excel, SAP, Jira SAP, third party apps.
- Advanced SharePoint Administration – User permissions, establishing site collections, various features and functionalities
- Advanced Excel – such as producing graphs, look-ups, pivot tables, formula development.
- Familiarity and understanding of project scheduling applications/tools (e.g, P6, maxavera)- data source
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent
- 5+ years of experience in large Software programs and/or Project experience.
- 5+ years of Developer or Software Design and support Controller experience
- The role is responsible for Power BI development- designing, developing, and supporting reporting, document management, project management, and methodology tools used by Project Controls Analyst Team.
- Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports that provide actionable insights into operational performance, trends, and efficiency improvements.
- Extract and manipulate data from SAP and Business Warehouse systems to support analytics.
- Work closely with stakeholders across Project Controls to understand their data analysis needs and deliver comprehensive visualizations.
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity in all reporting and analytics outputs.
- Provide training and support to team members on Power BI tools and best practices.
- Typical project duties involve developing advanced reporting, Power BI, that is given and provided to leadership, Director to VP Levels, administering document management tools (e.g. SharePoint, MS-TEAMS).
- Simplifying the SharePoint resource pages
- Participate in the development of analytics strategies and contribute to project planning and management.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and lead initiatives to enhance data-driven decision-making capabilities.
