Title: Project Coordinator/Data Analyst
Location:- Remote (Occasional travel to Fairfield, CA, and additional Bay Area location)
Duration:- 12 months

Team Overview

• Part of the Engineering team
• Team includes:
  • Mechanical Engineers
  • Civil Engineers
  • Electrical Engineers
  • Linemen (develop work methods on how to operate equipment)

Hiring Need Overview

• Needs help with spreadsheets.
• Specifically to support one lineman who created/maintains:
  • Multiple spreadsheets
  • A database
• Not complex or technical work.
• Described as “helping your mother with a computer” - simple but requires patience and capability.

Core Responsibilities

Spreadsheet Management

• Strong Microsoft Excel is a must-have.
• Not just data entry - ownership of spreadsheets.
• Organizing columns, tracking next steps.
• Cleaning up and maintaining files.

Document Editing

• Updating work method documents.
• Significant formatting cleanup in Word.
• Editing and improving document structure.
• Supporting:
  • Lineman with his work method documents.
  • Another lineman with similar documentation.

Collaboration

• Comfortable with Microsoft Teams.
• Able to communicate clearly.
• Will work closely with linemen (can be difficult personalities).

Required Skills

• Strong Microsoft Excel (mandatory).
• Comfortable with full MS Suite.
• Microsoft Teams proficiency.
• Document formatting & editing (Word).
• Organized and detail-oriented.
• Basic project coordination ability.
• Good communicator.

• Comfortable supporting experienced field professionals with strong personalities and a lack of technical acumen.

• Comfortable being closely embedded with a lineman.

Work Location & Travel
Remote

• Mostly remote.
• Editing and collaboration via Teams.
• Equipment can be shipped to home address.

In-Person (Required)

• Fairfield, CA - Once per month (mandatory meeting).
• Occasional meetings in:
  • San Ramon
  • Livermore
  • Other Bay Area locations
• Possible occasional visit to Oakland (where HM works - not mandatory).
