Job Description
Title: Procurement Agent 3
Duration: 12 months
Work Location: Rosemead, CA 91770 - Hybrid (Needs to be able to be in Rosemead 2 days a week. Typically, Monday and Tuesday.)
Timings: M-F 8-5
Job Discipline: Technical Purchasing
Negotiates favorable terms, volume discounts, and long?term contracts with suppliers.
Prepares and processes requisitions and purchase orders for technical equipment, custom engineered products, systems, software, or components.
Acquires and maintains understanding of technology trends, market forces, cost trends, and supplier technology roadmaps.
Reviews purchase order claims and contracts for compliance with organizational policy.
Discusses defects and delivery problems with suppliers and negotiates refunds.

Applies advanced in-depth knowledge in a job family or broad knowledge across a job function.
Frequently uses extensive understanding of technical principles, theories, and concepts.

Responsibilities:
Ensures risk management, quality, ethical sourcing, sustainability, and legal compliance align with company policies.
Updates supplier agreements and contracting policies for internal stakeholder use.
Supports category or sourcing strategies and tendering event management.
Helps develop and implement innovative solutions to resolve complex issues using change management strategies.
Conducts contract reviews for audit compliance and spend analysis to assess long?term supply needs.
Manages day-to-day Energy contracts in regulated and deregulated markets.
Supports development of category strategies aligned with business plans and regulatory commitments.
Uses complex data sets to identify opportunities and risks across contract lifecycles.
Ensures protection and proper handling of all physical, financial, cybersecurity, and sensitive information assets.
Minimum Qualifications
Five or more years of experience in supply chain, IT procurement, and/or contract management.
