Position Title: Pharmacy Assistant
Work Location: Irving, TX, 75039
Assignment Duration: 5 Months
Work Schedule: Sunday 7am - 3:30p Monday - Thurs 1p - 9:30p
Work Arrangement: Onsite

Background & Context: This position is for a Central Fill pharmacy located in Irving, TX, 75039 supplying patient-level prescriptions for a large retail national chain. There is no patient interaction, answering of phones, or dealing with insurance companies This role is fast-paced and team-oriented with a safety-first attitude. Key Responsibilities:
- Processes orders for shipping
- Folds and packs paperwork with prescriptions to prepare for shipping
- Sorts orders by store location and places in totes for shipping
- Loads product into truck
- Complies with policies, procedures and SOP’s
- Adheres to and promotes the Company’s Shared principles
- Able to lift and carry 20-25 pounds
- Will be standing/walking for the majority of the shift (8+hours per day)
- Requires bending, twisting, reaching and grasping
- Understands and abides by federal and state HIPAA laws as well as pharmacy standard procedures to ensure patient safety and privacy.
- Demonstrate problem resolution skills: ability to recognize, address and escalate issues to management.
