Position Title: Training Specialist
Work Location: North Chicago, IL 60064
Assignment Duration: 9 Month (Possible Extension)
Work Arrangement: Hybrid (3 days onsite)
Position Summary:
The Learning Operations Associate will own the coordination of all aspects of training and work collaboratively with Learning and Training team members to support multiple initiatives (training, compliance, LMS, etc.). Additional responsibilities to provide general support as needed. This role will need to coordinate events on-site periodically, including setup of classrooms and assisting facilitators and participants with technology.
Background & Context:
The day-to-day responsibilities are varied and dynamic, requiring adaptability and effective calendar management. Serve as the LMS Administrator, overseeing course assignments and generating compliance reports to track completion. Manage compliance requirements, including wire assignments and course facilitation. The position demands the ability to pivot quickly and handle multiple priorities efficiently. A background in pharmacy is not necessary; experience in learning systems administration or L&D is preferred. Demonstrate an onboarding mindset with clear communication and strong writing skills, as the role involves regular interaction with leaders and managers. Excellent time management skills are essential for success in this position. The individual will not be expected to work independently from the outset. Team members who will be taking leave will play a role in supporting and training the new hire, ensuring a smooth transition.

Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the coordination of all Learning and Training administrative tasks, including but not limited to onboarding/offboarding, classroom moderation, communication, and marketing of training materials.
- Support new hire training logistics to ensure an effective onboarding process. Facilitate periodically.
- Manage employee training files and training matrix to maintain compliance standards.
- Provide administrative support for the learning management system (LMS) to ensure accuracy and completion of employee learning requirements.
- Perform training administration responsibilities, including assignment of training to employees, assist with enhancements to the system, and provide technological support to end users.
- Run reports, analyze date, communicate findings in a compelling way and make suggestions in an accurate and clear manner.
- Manage training logistics to support the Learning and Training team and provide an unmatched participant experience.
- Perform and report training compliance metrics and audit support.
- General administrative support for personnel as needed.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred (learning and development, human resources, organizational development).
- 2+ years of experience in a similar role is required.
- Strong project and time management skills requiring minimal supervision and ability to pivot quickly.
- Strong interpersonal communication and technical skills required. Ability to build relationships.
- Proven ability to analyze and communicate data on projects and training metrics in a clear and concise manner.
- Strong ability to think critically, influence others, and collaborate with members inside and outside of the department.
- Experience with learning technology is required. Proficiency in Office 365 and SharePoint is also required.
- Learning Management System administration (ComplianceWire is a plus).
- Facilitation skills (will facilitate some new hire training).
- Content development (intermediate level training development).
- Bachelor’s Degree in related field.
- Min 2-3 years of relevant experience.
- LMS Technical expertise.
