Position Summary
Client is seeking an Analytical Lab Operations Coordinator to support the Regulatory Analytical Sciences Team within Global Regulatory Sciences R&D. This role focuses on analytical instrumentation maintenance, troubleshooting, and software upgrades, particularly for LC-MS/MS systems, in a regulated laboratory environment.

Position Summary
Client is seeking an Analytical Lab Operations Coordinator to support the Regulatory Analytical Sciences Team within Global Regulatory Sciences R&D. This role focuses on analytical instrumentation maintenance, troubleshooting, and software upgrades, particularly for LC-MS/MS systems, in a regulated laboratory environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage routine maintenance and upkeep of analytical laboratory instrumentation including LC-MS/MS, GC-MS/MS, pipettes, evaporators, and sample preparation equipment
- Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors for equipment repair, maintenance, and upgrades
- Support a major LC-MS/MS software upgrade initiative related to Windows 11 compliance, including scheduling and validation activities
- Perform instrument cleaning, performance verification, and equipment validation
- Assist with LC-MS/MS batch setup, execution, and mobile phase preparation
- Order and manage laboratory supplies to support method development and routine operations
- Ensure compliance with laboratory safety procedures, GLP standards, and regulatory requirements
- Maintain accurate, complete, and compliant documentation
- Prepare GLP-related support documentation as required
- Prepare standard solutions and reagents
- Maintain catalogs and GLP documentation for chemical standards and solutions
- Associate Degree in a science-related field (Bachelor’s preferred)
- General knowledge of mass spectrometry, liquid chromatography, and analytical software
- Ability to manage routine instrument maintenance in a fast-paced, regulated environment
- Hands-on analytical laboratory experience
- Experience with quantitative weighing and solution preparation
- Quantitative LC-MS/MS experience with small molecules
- Understanding of GLP regulations
- Experience with PM, IQ, OQ, and PQ of analytical instrumentation
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally
