Position Title: Maintenance Worker II
Work Location: Framingham, MA USA 01701
Assignment Duration: 6 Months
Work Schedule: Monday thru Friday 7 to 3:30 with some possible overtime if needed
Work Arrangement: Onsite - Free parking onsite
Position Summary: Commercial Maintenance/ General Maintenance
Required / Must-Have Skills
Reliable transportation
EPA Certification is a plus (not required)
Will work under a licensed plumber and HVAC worker
Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills
Ability to work independently
Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
Support environmental control standards for manufacturing and facility requirements
Background & Context: Backfill role in a facility requiring maintenance of mechanical systems to support manufacturing and environmental control standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver professional and responsive customer service with a focus on quality and safety
• Operate, troubleshoot, and repair piping systems and equipment
• Support startup and commissioning of new equipment or system upgrades
• Document all work in compliance with cGMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) standards and company policies
• Participate in on-call rotation and respond to off-hours maintenance emergencies
• Follow all safety protocols, work instructions, and SOPs
Qualification & Experience:
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• 1–2 years of commercial pipefitting/plumbing; and hvac experience
• Proficient with hand and power tools: pipe wrenches, pipe cutters, threading machines, pressure test pumps, gauges
• Experience with various piping materials: copper, PVC, PEX, steel
• Familiarity with: o Water supply, drainage, gas, steam, and HVAC piping systems o Steam and hot water system repairs o Chilled water systems and HVAC piping o Drainage and waste piping (including clogs and leak troubleshooting) o Performing preventative maintenance on mechanical systems
• Strong teamwork, communication, and willingness to learn
Additional Information (If Applicable):
• OSHA 10/30 certification a plus
• Basic welding/soldering experience
• Familiarity with backflow prevention systems or fire suppression piping We will be looking for a mixture of Commercial /Industrial plumbing experience and HVAC (AHU’s, exhaust fans, etc.)
