Summary
This role as a Training Lead is responsible for enabling business leads and end-users to effectively utilize Workday business process modules and custom client solutions. This position requires a technical understanding of complex, business-specific Workday processes, as well as the ability to translate complex business processes into clear, engaging training experiences and materials.

Summary
This role as a Training Lead is responsible for enabling business leads and end-users to effectively utilize Workday business process modules and custom client solutions. This position requires a technical understanding of complex, business-specific Workday processes, as well as the ability to translate complex business processes into clear, engaging training experiences and materials.
Responsibilities
- Develop a deep understanding of complex, business-specific Workday business processes and modules, including custom configurations, integrations and ongoing enhancements.
- Lead interactive, hands-on training, demos and enablement sessions for business leads and end-users across the client, focusing on Workday business process modules and custom client solutions.
- Design and create polished and easy-to-understand training materials, including quick reference guides, short-form instructional videos and step-by-step process documentation tailored to the client’s business needs and a diverse set of audience groups.
- Translate complex business processes and adapt facilitation and content to suit diverse audience groups including Retail Operations.
- Customize HRIS/systems training as needed for domain-specific requirements.
- Partner with business owners, HR, technical teams and change management to proactively identify training needs and deliver solutions.
- Collaborate with large cross-functional teams and confidently surface conflicts, duplication risks, and readiness gaps early, providing options for resolution.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years experience in training, learning and development and/or instructional design.
- Experience facilitating Workday technical training sessions for business teams and end-users.
- Deep knowledge of Workday modules, with the ability to quickly learn and master custom client solutions.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Background in retail training, with understanding of retail business processes.
- Experience leveraging AI for training, learning and change management.
- Familiarity with the client’s internal tools and knowledge management practices is a plus.
